World Ballet Day returns on October 1, 2015, with 23-hours of non-stop, behind-the-scenes access to five leading ballet companies: The Australian Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Royal Ballet, National Ballet of Canada and San Francisco Ballet. Each will provide behind-the-scenes streaming from their headquarters to offer a glimpse into the backstage lives of dancers: morning class, followed by rehearsals of ballets being prepared for performance. This year the stream will also include pre-recorded segments by other dance companies from each region.
The complete live stream will be accessible on each of the five companies’ YouTube channels.
